RTL Design & Verification Engineer

We are looking for a senior RTL design and verification engineer for our SoC development team. As a key member of the ASIC development team, you will be responsible for working verilog RTL design of different functional blocks and top level of our ultra-low-power SOC designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Specification development for different functional blocks for the IOT SOC designs.

• RTL development including verilog code development, define and run verification, build test benches for self-checking verification, modeling of IP to verify RTL functionality vs. requirements

• Work with 3rd party vendors to make sure requirements are being met and risks and opportunities are properly identified and addressed

• Support lab evaluations and debug activities including board level using logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.

• Work with the software team to implement changes required by the driver

• Modify the design for future enhancements to the chip’s feature set

• Assess overall chip power save modes versus external system requirement

• Evaluating system-level performance in simulation, in FPGA emulation platform, and in ASIC

Skills/Experience:

• Experience with complete ASIC and FPGA flows involving timing closure of high speed digital design using scripting languages and design automation. Well versed in front-end design, simulation, and verification CAD tools.

• FPGA implementation and tools experience is a strong plus

• Experience in state of the art tools and flows including verification, synthesis and timing closure

• Microcontroller based design and development experience is a strong plus

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors in Electrical Engineering. MSEE is a plus

• 2+ years relevant FPGA/ASIC engineering design and verification experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent follow-through, motivation, and persistence

• Demonstrated strong technical judgment and decision-making abilities

• Mixed-signals design experience a plus

• Prior experience working with 3rd-party vendors a plus

• Knowledge of digital board design and signal integrity principles is a plus
